I finally was able to experience what was so great about Da Vinci's gluten free pizza. It only comes in 10" circle pie in a square box. I just want to say, If a pie is coming in a square box, the pie should at least be a square, but the owner probably has a reason for the things he does with his business and I respect that. For someone who has cut out tubers from her diet and eating a gluten free pizza made from potatoes in one sitting was a mistake. But let me just say first that the pizza was delicious and savory. I would go back and eat some more but not how I did it the first time. I would only be able to eat a slice and the rest would be leftovers. The sauces and toppings were fresh and yummy. I ordered pick up so I cannot say how comfortable the seats were but I took pictures of the seating area and by far, they look cozy and great for family and friends to get together. The brick decor around the restaurant gives me a sense of Chicago-esque family-owned environment (I have nothing against Chicago). Along with the pies we ordered 4 canolis which I didn't have but my boyfriend said they were delicious. The pies we had were the meat lovers, veggie lovers, cheese, and Margarita. I do recommend this for anyone who is switching to a healthy eating lifestyle. Eating pizza gluten free this way is a better way to start than continuing to consume foods that contain wheat flour. I do wish to see improvements like expanding the gluten free pizza option to larger sized pies. I wouldn't mind spending a couple more dollars.

The sweet yelp deal brought us to this place on a road trip to South Florida. Pretty tasty, classic Italian dishes. My wife and I both had the manicotti/ravioli/chicken dishes. Wasn't 5 star material to our palates. Also, no free bread?! Pretty much a requisite in our books for free bread at an Italian restaurant...but, I will say the garlic knots were probably pretty much the best thing ever!

Have been trying out different places to deliver to my apartments, and I have got to say- for me being lazy... paying $14 for a tipped and delivered amazing philly cheese steak (I know, of all things to order from an Italian joint) with fries they are awesome! Delivery time was right on point at about 30 mins when they quoted 45. I used the new "yelp to go" for whatever it is and was pleasantly surprised! Will try out some more italian things next time!

Da Vinci's is real Italian food with high quality ingredients and large meals. We always have to take home leftovers from this place where the employees know our faces as regulars. We go about once a month, if not two times. Love the seafood dishes and the al la vodka sauce! They even have gluten-free pizza that is really great! Wish they had better wines. Good beers though! :)

Please... do not be fooled by these 5 star reviews. I was and I regret it so much. We had to wait an hour and a half for our order (dinner for 4 people, over $70) and we didn't even get an apology. After an hour I called the restaurant to ask about the status of our order. All they said was it was sent out already. I asked when it will be here and they said they didn't know. I asked when it left the restaurant, again they said they didn't know. When it finally arrived, we asked the delivery person why it took so long while laughing a little bit. They said in a stern tone that the restaurant is busy because it's "in season" (this was in March or April) and that if we want our food sooner we had to order earlier or something. Okay? As expected after the long wait, the food was barely even warm. Everything was room temperature at best. The chicken tenders were SO greasy... they literally made my mother throw up after she ate a couple. They come with honey mustard and in one of our orders of them, the sauce opened up and spilled all over them. The other order's honey mustard lid was hanging on by a thread. The chicken tenders are extremely deep-fried with little to no draining. The grilled chicken sandwich features *burnt* bland grilled chicken and no cheese. The chicken wings are dry and have no flavor but will come sitting in a mixture of grease and juice/sauce that doesn't help or add anything to them at all. The Combo Vittorio comes in one big container and everything is just a big soggy sloppy mess that looks and tastes unappealing. I took 3 bites and threw it away. You're better off going to the freezer isle in Walmart than ordering from here. We complained and received an apology and partial refund on our order. That was great and we do appreciate it but we will never order from here and we advise others to steer clear of this establishment.

Great buffet lunch. Large salad bar and pizza, wings, pasta very good. Service is good too! Returned for dinner. The chicken Marsala is the best I've had anywhere. Large portions. Great service!

The food is awesome. Homemade everything and the best pizza anywhere. Great courteous family service. They have awesome dining deals and great prices to boot. They aren't open for lunch on most Sundays so keep that in mind.

Long ago, I decided to take many Yelp reviews with a grain of salt. Why? Because I'm a very simplistic non-foodie and ordinary, but good restaurants seem to take a back seat (or at least a negative review tone) unless it offers unusual things. Nothing wrong with foodies, but nothing wrong with enjoying plain food either. Some prefer to dine to experience new things...I like to dine to avoid cooking/cleaning at home. If you are looking for good, thick spaghetti sauce...come to Da Vinci's. I can't stand runny sauce and this restaurants serves a delicious version. I only order the pasta with meat sauce...fantastic taste and huge portions. You would think that after dining here about 5 times now, I would wise up and come before my last evening in town to enjoy the leftovers on another day. Perhaps I'll do so on the next visit. Others who have dined with me have enjoyed penne a la vodka and veal parmegan (sp?). Cheese sticks are great too. Yes it's small and yes, you sometimes sit in the path of the take out pickups or even the entrance to the kitchen or bathrooms, but we're talking a family dining restaurant - not an upscale establishment. If there was one negative, it's an experience during my first visit with a very rude waiter. Haven't seen him since so perhaps they also realized his shortcomings. This place can get quite busy at times, so I recommend dining after 6:30 to avoid all of the customers who enjoy early bird specials or who don't like to drive after dark.

Awesome authentic Italian food. Small but clean with attentive staff. Calamari was great with yummy marinara sauce. House salad with house dressing was good too! Garlic knots came with dinner too. I had Chicken Chianti.. Husband had Veal Parm. We were both VERY happy with our meals! They come with side of pasta too. I took half of mine home and it was just as good the next day reheated. Would come here anytime we're in the area! Highly recommend!

I'm sorry but whoever says this place is authentic Italian really needs to get out more...came here recently and ordered the lasagna which is one of my favorite dishes, not enough sauce, the ground beef was not even seasoned, very cheesy but appeared to be poor quality ingredients. I would not return, staff may have been friendly but the place is a dive and the food was far from authentic.

Summary: Mediocre Italian American food served by surly waitresses in a grubby setting. For starters, the restaurant is shabby -- dirty floors, grubby upholstered booths, decorations circa 1990. We were first seated across from the entrance to the kitchen so we could look at slop buckets, the garbage, etc. throughout our meal. When we asked to move, we were begrudgingly offered a booth across from the bathroom. Gee thanks! BTW, this is a small restaurant and probably a quarter of the seats are in the kitchen/bathroom/dungeon area. We were then served unrefridgerated salads from a stack of salads sitting on top of one another on an unused salad bar. Visions of food poisoning loomed in my head... This was followed by over cooked pasta smothered in sauce. And the garlic knots? Well, they're like the garlic knots you get at most Italian places around here. For dessert, we could have selected one of the pre-made Sysco type desserts from the laminated card on the table, but we wanted outta there before a roach ran over our feet. With so many decent Italian restaurants in a 10 mile radius, I can't imagine why anyone would go to this one.

I ordered delivery, and it was very prompt. The delivery guy was nice. The food was excellent. I haven't had authentic Italian food like that in a long time. I ordered mozzarella sticks and they actually gave you a decent size marinara cup. I also got the eggplant parmesan sub and it was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. If I lived closer I'd be a regular here!

Excellent Italian! Garlic knots very tasty, 2nd best I've ever had (best place closed years ago in Miami). Pizza without a doubt the best I've had in this area, from Vero down to Stuart. Crisp thin crust, perfectly cooked, excellent sauce and cheese! Gluten free pizza, according to those in our party who eat that way, was very good. The service was very good and personal, felt like we were at relatives (in this case, very nice relatives). Prices are inexpensive. This was so good, we're are going back only three days after we were there the first time, something we rarely do. Been back multiple additional times, and not as consistent as he first time. Really 3.5 stars.

We stopped in on the recommendation of a friend to give the place a try; we were not disappointed. Not only did we stop in for a few italian dishes, but we have returned several times since for their pizza's. Again as my title says, "Molto Delizioso!" (Very Delicious) The garlic knots are num, num, yummy! On our first visit to the restaurant we enjoyed two full course meals and went home stuffed, due to our inability to stop eating all of the good food. They have been in PSL on US 1 for many years, in the same location, from what I understand so that in itself should speak volumes. One more thing you must try their chocolate fudge cake dessert.....WOW! give them a try you won't be sorry. Great food, great service.

Reasonable variety of types of pizza offered as part of the buffet when I've been there, along with much more diverse and authentic Italian salad offerings than might be expected in a pizza buffet. Excellent quality as well.

Very good pizza and a better than average salad bar, with a dimly-lit small buffet (only 1-2 pizzas at a time, along with 4 pasta dishes. Dated decor, but a family feel and friendly wait staff. Will be happy to go back, although I might just order a pizza rather than doing the buffet.

Lunch buffet is great and It's cheap and fresh. They have a salad bar, 3 types of pasta, wings, soup, vegetables and great pizza. I cant remember ever having great pizza on a buffet. There was only one server and one cook while we were there but it was a late lunch so they were slow. The place is such a mom and pop restaurant. They do have a frequent diner card but since I live 2 hours away didn't do me much good.

My sister raved about this place having the best pizza in town so we decided to have lunch here. It wasn't the best pizza I ever had but I was still delighted by their pizza. It was very tasty and full of flavor.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
